all reclaimed scrap materials make for a nice gate:
this will be a nice shortcut in between the chicken run. keeping mine and the neighbor's hens separated; yet easy to feed/water when one of us goes out of town. the chicken wire is tripled up on the bottom foot or so...these little ones are curious and I want to be ready to move them out to the run in about two weeks.this is how they look today:
17 Australorp Pullets..we have one separated due to the other ones picking on a cut under her beak. She has been living in a small kennel above this one for two or three days and looks like she's healing up nicely. She peeps extremely loud around sunset. Presumably looking for her friends below
