had to put a name on the papers so we decided on Spotty Dog Farm. what do you think? we heard a lot of suggestions and this one was the best. By Saturday we will have turned in the complete application (15 pages ) and paid all dues and then stuff just needs to grow! kinda exciting and frightening all at the same time. we just kinda comfortably fell into this. just let it ride.
All seedlings are doing well and we have two chiles, three tomatoes, onions (each tray holds approx. 72 plants) plus we have cilantro, flat leaf parsley, english thyme, and greek mini Basil to be sold at market for three or four bucks each in Qt. size peat pots. most of the extra tomato and chile plants will also be for sale, and hopefully help with all the start-up costs including over two hundred dollars to the SFFM
(photos of seedlings and garlic outside to come soon! snowing a little outside right now, and the rain barrels are catching a fair amount of melting snow off the warm, metal roof. more to come soon..
All right! Let the farming and selling begin. I like the Spotty Dog Farm name. Labels should be easy to design.
