Homegrown Pickles

Dill fresh from the herb garden

Grape leaves from our mountain grape vines and garlic peeled, cayenne peppers and dill heads.

A nice harvest of pickling cukes.

 The recipe we use is a simple one that always works well. It hangs off a clothespin attached to a shelf in our kitchen year-round. Anyways, here is the link:

We made marinara sauce as well. 

Also we made some refrigerator pickles with the remaining cucumbers.
