getting stuff done, ready for winter
truck emptied, next i am gonna put up plywood inside the walls, hang tools of it/ protect the metal a little.
just a few logs still needing to be bucked:

new garden plots are getting cleared.
new garden plot (three sisters) photo below:
this will include all corn (maize) blue, yellow, purple, strawberry popcorn, pink, small tri-color, etc.
in the winter squash family we will have cushaw, amber cup, acorn, pie pumpkins as well as some native pumpkin
and we are thinking about only growing the Anasazi beans and not pintos..we'll see
also blue lake green beans

productive Sunday off
I could have gone into work today and used one less vacation day...but that's no fun. So instead i stayed homeside and worked on a fence for the other part of the garden where the shallots have two rows already ..probably more plants to go there that are less drought tolerant...like corn or maize. the quinoa will most likely go on the other side of the road where the compost is now. Along with possibly some winter squashes and whatnot.
