Winter Time




These lucky hens get a serious variety of fresh produce from a few places around town.



On this day they got some cut up butternut squash and mango.

In a month or two we are planning on getting more pullets, hopefully like four or so different types. Hoping to get some tan ones, white ones and just add some variety to the flock. Maybe some turkey toms and guineas too. Just depends on what we can get for a decent price. If I recall we paid $1.75/ ea. for the Australorp pullets.
